David Devon Milliken, age 66, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on August 26, 2021.
David was born in Whiteville, North Carolina on July 4, 1955, to Ralph and Betty Ann Milliken. He has been a resident of Fort Pierce from the age of 13.
David was a Grove Foreman for numerous citrus groves. In his spare time, David enjoyed a nice meal, watching Westerns, working on cars, farm equipment, and loved being outdoors. He had a wonderful sense of humor and gave everyone a nickname.
David is survived by his wife Sheila Milliken, to whom he had been married to just shy of 40 years; Sisters Nancy Varnes Smith, Sharon Sweatt, and Julie Canfield; Brother Charles Milliken; Sons David Milliken, Joseph Milliken, Matthew and his wife Chelsea Milliken; Grandchildren Malachi Milliken, Nicholas Milliken, and Nathan Milliken; and his Niece Shannon Milliken. He is also survived by many more relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Milliken and Betty Todd Benton, stepfather Seymer Benton, Grandparents Effie, and Barlon Milliken, Sisters Pamela Boyd and Velvet Dominquez, Brothers Douglas Milliken and Andy Milliken, Nephew Billy Boyd; and his beloved dogs Magic, Brownie, and Scrubs.
