On January 17, 2021, Our Savior called home our precious husband, father, son, uncle and friend David Dennis Mascarenas. David is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marie; children, David Lee, Stephen, John, Mary, Mathew and Christina; siblings, Carl, Joe (Charlene), Michael, John and Anna (Carlos) Cisneros; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
David is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ben and Eloisa Berg; grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends both from Pueblo, CO and his beloved town of Ocate, New Mexico.
David was a simple and humble man who loved building with his hands, cooking meals for others and had compassion for the poor. He was always looking out for the needs of others and always found simple ways to bring relief to our lives.
He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who he often referred to as his “Master Carpenter” while he was the laborer. He was a member of Our Lady of the Meadows Parish.
Thank you to anyone who in any way brought joy to the life of this special man. We trust that Our Lady brought him to the throne of our loving God. We will continue our work here on Earth until the day we are reunited with him in our heavenly home!
