David Dean Seibel, 69, went to his heavenly home on July 12, 2018. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
David was born to the late Albert and Lorraine Seibel, in Harvey, ND on January 14, 1949. He was the youngest of four children and was brought home from the hospital during a snowstorm in a horse-drawn carriage. He was immersed in the Christian community that would be his lifelong support from an early age. David grew up on a farm in rural North Dakota and he graduated from North Dakota State University in 1971 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He accepted his first job as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Minneapolis, MN where he met the love of his life at Lake Harriet Baptist Church.
After a first date of going to get ice cream, he married Candace Arlene Clark on June 10, 1973 at Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN. They just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on June 10.
David was a kind man who loved to learn, spend time with his family, work in his woodshop, sing in the choir at church, spend as much time as possible in museums, and look at trains, tractors, and really anything with an engine. He sang tenor with the Foundation Quartet, based out of Lakeville, MN, where he and Candace traveled to Quartet Conventions and churches in many different states. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord & Savior.
David is survived by his loving wife, Candace; his daughters who dearly loved him, Shanel (Mike), Shay (Stephen) and Lindsay; his grandson, Wyatt; his brother Kirby (Judie); and his sister Myrna (Mike). He is preceded in death by parents, Albert and Lorraine; and his sister, Sharon.
Music presented on the DVD was proudly performed by David and The Foundation Quartet.
