David Clint Vogel, age 60, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born in Reading, PA, on July 4, 1955, he was the son of William J. Vogel, Jr. and Dorothy T. Warfel Vogel. A kind, loving brother and son, he kept his sense of humor to the end. He loved his music and was a benefactor of friends in need. David had a tremendous 39 year career as a Chemical Engineer. Working for 7 different oil companies, most recently Conoco Phillips, he had built a solid reputation as a detailed thinker solving problems and developing solutions. Working and travelling in over 30 countries around the world, he enjoyed their cultures as well as his work. Preceded in death by his father and by his wife of 17 years, Kyung Hee Lee, Vogel, David is survived by his mother, Dorothy Vogel; sisters, Kim Vogel and Sue Vogel; brother William J. Vogel III (Laura), and nephew, Christopher. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
