Mr. David Cecil Gwin, 83, died April 16, 2007, in Hobbs, N.M. He was born Feb. 7, 1924, in Rule, Texas. He married Hildreth M. Morrison on July 3, 1946, in Portales, N.M.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include three sons, David L. Gwin of Hobbs, N.M., Dennis Gwin of Midland, Texas, and Steve Gwin of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a brother, Clarence Gwin of Amarillo, Texas.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. and Bertha Gwin; his wife, Hildreth M. Gwin on April 5, 1995; a brother, J.R. Gwin; and three sisters, Margaret Smith, Doris Dean Gwin and Faye Kyzer.
