David C. S. Rhen, 47, of 2328 Kaiser Hollow Road, Montoursville, died Friday, January 29, 2010, at The Gatehouse Hospice following a lengthy illness.
Before falling ill Dave worked for the Williamsport Area School District, where he loved working with the special needs children. He was a member of the Church of the Savior Lutheran, W.A.N.S. Coin Club, shot pool for the Trout Run Pool team and was an avid collector and NY Mets fan.
Born March 15, 1962 in Williamsport, he was the son of Charles E. and Carol N. Abel Rhen.
Surviving are his wife of 15 years, the former Jacqueline E. Winder; his parents of Linden, a son, Joseph A. (Danielle) Winder of Bethlehem; a daughter, Sarah; a sister, Barbara C. (David) Jandrisavitz of Williamsport; grandchildren Joseph Jr. and Nicole Winder; three nephews; one niece; one great nephew and one great niece.
