Died Sunday morning, June 19, 2016, at his residence. David was born February 3, 1953 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a son of John and Nancy (Bassett) Bauckham. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Kalamazoo Sanitary Supply Company for 15 years, retiring in 2012.
He held many other sales positions during his career selling shoes, pest control services, telephone book ads, credit services, and flooring. David was a member of the Kalamazoo Ski Club, a former director of the Timber Ridge Ski School, and he also enjoyed golfing, boating, skiing, and socializing with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by 3 siblings including Thomas (Silver) Bauckham of Oklahoma, OK, Laurie (Robert) Callander of Louisville, KY, and Robert (Lynda) Bauckham of Portage, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
