David Eugene “Bo” Thomas, age 79, of Oxford, passed from this life, Monday, July 5, 2021, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.

He was the son of the late Filo and Cordie Lee Miller Thomas. Bo was a retired farmer and loved fishing and hunting. He also had a profound love for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Bo was a true friend to all and was always there in the time of need for anyone that would accept his help. He was not only a great husband to his wife of sixty-two years but a great father to his children. Bo was always quick with a smile and could always make you feel at home. He professed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to his family and had a personal relationship with the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by two sons, Larry Eugene Thomas of Oxford and Kenny Jones of Manila, Arkansas, six brothers, Thelbert “Shot” Thomas, Jack, George, Danny, Larry and Albert Dow and three sisters, Tootsie Towel, Bug Woodward and Doodle Ervin.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Ester Faye Thomas, daughter Judy Hulse and husband Darrel of Paragould and Gerald “David” Thomas and wife Kathy of Oxford, six brothers, Jeep Thomas of Monette, Bill Thomas of Clinton, Dean Thomas of Shirley, Harvey Thomas of Leachville, Tony Thomas of Concord, Johnny Thomas of Cash, four sisters, Linda Pendergrass of Monette, Debby Pemberton of Leachville, Joanie Cantrell of Monette and Mary Masterson of Charleston, SC. He also leaves behind Seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren 14 step great grandchildren.

I never seen a man more loving toward family or stranger. Greatly missed and never forgotten.
