SANS, David B. of Kalamazoo. Dave passed away Friday morning, Aug. 19, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born July 23, 1928 in Normal, IL the son of David C. and Maurine Brown Sans. Dave was a member of the Kalamazoo Carpenter’s Union Local #525 and helped build many commercial buildings in the Kalamazoo area over his career. On May 4, 1973, he was united in marriage to Ruby Bennett, who survives.
Also surviving are his 3 children, David Sans of Yankee Springs, Kristie Hermenitt of Gun Lake, and Douglas Sans of Gun Lake; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Denaway of Portage; 2 nieces; and one nephew. Preceding him in death were his parents; two children, Daniel Sans and Linda Sans; and aunt, Inez Mason.
