David Benjamin Asaro passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022, at the age of 63, after doing what he loved, sailing his boat.  He was born on January 26, 1959, in Albion, Michigan, and was the fourth child born to Peter W. Asaro, Sr. and Virginia I. (Maddux) Asaro.  David was the founder and sole owner of Top Tier Industrial in Jackson, Michigan.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.  David was endeared by his family and a friend to many.  With a sharp and witty sense of humor, his network stretches far and wide, including from his hometown, college, business and from his many recreational activities.  He was a member of the Albion Knights of Columbus and was a member of their bowling and golf teams.  In addition to sailing, David enjoyed family gatherings, his annual fishing trips, his pool league, riding his motorcycles and driving in his convertible.  Most recently he also spent precious time on the Lake Michigan shore, where he found true peace and happiness with his special friend and partner, Sue Bohl.

David leaves behind a loving family including his sisters, Brenda (Stan) Lohrke of Menifee, California, Laura Asaro of Clarklake, Michigan, and one brother, Peter (Victoria) Asaro, Jr. of Richland, Michigan.  Also left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews, David (Jennifer) Peifer of Mission Viejo, California, Adriane Brown, and Sherelle Smith, both of Menifee, California, Lindsay (Nathan) Scheffers of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Natalie (Anthony Gomez) Asaro of Chicago, Illinois.  There are also five great nieces and nephews.  Additionally, he will be greatly missed by his dog and faithful companion, Foxy.  Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister Virginia (Ginger) Garoutte, and a brother-in-law, Chris Leavitt.
