David Arthur Waltz, 73, of Whiteland, passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016.
David was born April 27, 1943 in Franklin to Roscoe E. and Jeanette (Records) Waltz.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was self-employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 31 years. He was a member of the Union of Operating Engineers.
David was also a member of Whiteland V.F.W., post 6978, National Rifle Association, and Johnson County Antique Machinery Association.
He was a past trustee of the town of Whiteland.
Survivors include, his two children, David J. (Missy) Waltz of Franklin and Don (Deb) Waltz of Whiteland, two brothers, Joe Waltz of Bargersville and Dick (Wanda) Waltz of Franklin and brother-in-law, Hugh Dunn of Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Jeanette Waltz, a sister, Joann Dunn and sister-in-law, Sue Waltz.
