David Arnold “Jabber Jaw” Kithcart, 63, passed away peacefully at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise on August 30, 2014 from natural causes.

He was born on November 24, 1950 in Albany, California. He was the son of Arnold and Phyllis Kithcart and Irving Potter. David grew up around the “Bay Area” in California. He always talked about his paper route he had with brother, Tim.

David married Cindie Lewis and her daughter Katy on August 7, 1999 in Boise. He was so thrilled to have an instant family and loved his “Katy Bug.”

He was a jack of all trades, but his passion was being a long haul truck driver for 22 years. He received many awards for safety and for the thousands of miles behind the wheel. He enjoyed skiing and hunting with friends until he was married and then family was his focus.

David was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Kithcart, and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Cindie; daughter, Katy Kithcart; parents, Irving and Phyllis Potter; brothers, Hal Kithcart and Tim (Chris) Potter; sisters, Terry (Larry) Pierce and Dianne (Jim) Gemeinhardt; and many nieces and nephews.

He was especially proud of his daughter, Katy, who is attending University of Idaho, and was also very fond of her boyfriend, Matthew Rueger.
