He is survived by his wife Kelley as well as his siblings: Larry Powell, Debbie Powell-Everett, Kevin Powell, Terry Powell, Steve Powell, and Greg Powell. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Val Nardell, brother-in-law, Carl Azuz, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins on both sides. Extended family in Newnan include Narice Kunse, the late Ralph Kunse, Richard and Geraldine Walters.
