David Andrew Schiller, age 51, of Salem, died 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at his home. He was born May 21, 1962 in Salem the son of Royal A. and Susan (Gibson) Schiller. David was a volunteer book salesman for the Salem Public Library. He was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church, a 1980 graduate of Salem High School, attended Kent State University and a member of the Salem Slovak Club. Survivors include his parents, Royal and Susan Schiller of Salem; an uncle, William K. (Barbara) Gibson Jr. of Canfield; an aunt, Jane (Robert) Salter of Corvallis, Oregon; and many cousins. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, William K. and Constance (Tice) Gibson and Royal and Anne (Reardon) Schiller and a great aunt, Katherine Gibson.
