David Weber
April 23, 1963 – August 15, 2016
David Allen Weber, 53, of Caldwell, Idaho died August 15, 2016 in Eagle, Idaho of suspected cardiac arrest.
He married Tammy (Alan) Hahn on August 20, 1994. Together they became a family with Erin and Tammy’s children, Brad and Kristina, whom Dave loved as his own. Family always came first to Dave, and he was especially in love with his grandchildren. They lit up his smile and his world.
As the owner of Weber Drywall, Dave had a long career as a gifted artist and craftsman. His beautiful walls and ceilings can be found in countless homes and buildings across the Treasure Valley. He loved his work, and took great pride in it. He built a reputation for honesty and quality, and earned the respect of those he worked with.
Dave loved life, and was interested in everything. He was a practical joker with a great sense of humor and a big heart. He was generous, reliable, and the least selfish person you could meet. He was passionate about cars, politics, and watching “The West Wing.” He was a man of simple faith. He simply believed.
Dave is survived by his wife Tammy of Caldwell; his children, Erin (Erik) Poppelreiter of Sacramento, Brad Hahn of Danbury, Connecticut, and Kristina Hahn, who is currently touring as a dancer in Japan and Russia; his grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Poppelreiter of Sacramento; his mother, Shirley Weber of St. David, Arizona; his brother, Bill Weber of Boise; and his aunt, Delores Peck of Orlando, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Weber Sr.
