David Albert Hamilton, 43 of Caldwell, passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010.

David was born May 17, 1966, at Caldwell, Idaho to Ken W. Hamilton and Tanya (Kearn) Hamilton. He attended schools in Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High school in 1984.

David worked for several years in the remodeling and lawn care business

which suited him well because of his love for the outdoors.  He then worked

in the furniture business doing sales, repair, and delivery.  He had spent the last seven years in the maintenance department of a local food processing company, a job he loved and continued to do until 3 weeks ago.

David, and a close knit group of his friends, loved the great outdoors.  They spent many happy hours hiking, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He

especially enjoyed the family cabin, “Our Togetherness”, on Lake Cascade near Donnelly. He spent many happy days there.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents Perry and Dot Kearn, Elmer and Valta Hamilton, uncle Dan Hamilton, and very special friend and Grandfather Hank Pilote.

He is survived by his mother, Tanya Pilote (John), father Ken W Hamilton (Linda), sister LaDessa Foster (Brian), stepbrothers Rob (Terry) and Josh Pilote, niece Nicole Foster and nephew Michael Foster, and Grandmother Marie Pilote.

We will miss him and his sense of humor, his strength of character, and the sense of responsibility he demonstrated to us all in recent months.

The family would like to thank all of the close friends and family who have been so supportive during this period. A very special thank-you to Tim Healy and all the close special friends who got together recently to share good memories with David, Great American Appetizers (his employer), the doctors and staff from MSTI in Nampa, and Heart ‘n Home Hospice.
