David A. Forde, 73, of Nekoosa, Wisconsin passed away on December 22, 2021, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
David was born on April 10, 1948, in Pipestone, MN to Sigurd and Lucille (Bittner) Forde. He married Colleen Wixson on August 27, 1967, in Hutchinson, MN. Their marriage ended in divorce after 37 years.
He graduated from Miller Hospital in St. Paul, MN as a radiographic technologist. He moved to Rapid City, SD in 1970 where he worked as the Radiology Department manager at Rapid City Regional Hospital until 1990. He then transferred to Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids as the Radiology Department manager.
David enjoyed softball, bowling, golf, and playing cards and dominoes with his family. He also enjoyed working on the family farm and fishing with his brothers.
He is survived by his children: Eric Forde, Douglas (Mitzi) Forde, and Karma (Greg) Anderson; sisters: Sonja (Sam) Shuck, and Sharon Meyer; sister-in-law: Darlene Forde; grandchildren: Nathan, Christine, Samantha, Haley, Erin, Chase, Madelyn, Dalton, and Apple; great-grandchildren: Serenity and Khalil; and many nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Betty Ulrich her husband George Ulrich; brothers: Duane Forde, Arden Forde and wife Clara Forde; brother-in-law: Dave Meyer.
