David A. Davis, age 63 of Voluntown, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, November 22,2021.
David was born on September 22, 1958, to the late Donald Sr. and Joanne Davis-Barth.
David served in the US Army, worked in construction his whole life and was a member of the Carpenters and Millwrights Union Local #24, where he retired.
David was an avid sports lover esp. the NY Giants and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and earned the nickname “Dead Eye” for his accurate hunting aim.
David was a member of the Griswold Fish and Game and life member of the Jacques Cartier Club in Jewett City.
He is survived by his girlfriend of 23 years Teresa Churma, son David Davis III of Springfield, MO, a stepdaughter, Tristin (Ryan) Geist and stepson TJ (Kara) Hutchinson and his beloved dog “Teal”.
Brothers, Donald (Betty Jo) Davis of Canterbury, Richard (Cheryl) Davis of Lisbon, Michael (Joyce) Davis of Canterbury, Joanne (Mike) Mileski, Steven Davis and Edward Davis all of Griswold. He was predeceased by his brother Allan.
David was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Rowan, Avery, and Rosalie and several nieces and nephews.
