David A Bryan, 81 of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital in Lafayette. Mr. Bryan was born August 1, 1931 in Ladoga to Vern and Hazel Frazer Bryan. He was a 1949 graduate of Ladoga High School.
David served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict, serving in Korea and Phillipines. He retired in 1993 after working at RR Donnelly for 42 years.
He was active in Youngs Chapel Church serving for 40 years as an Elder and Treasurer. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion and was a volunteer at Whitlock House.
David married Sue Fruits on October 17, 1954 she survives. Also surviving are his children Rebecca (Terry) Rhoads of Liberty, MO; Brenda Bryan of Ft. Wayne and Brad Bryan of Los Angeles, CA. Three grandchildren Angela (Mark) Floersch of Liberty MO, Brooke Driscoll of Ft Wayne and Andrew (Rachael) Driscoll of Portland, OR; and four great grandchildren Antonio, Ian, Alaina, and Savannah also survive.
