Dave E. Markley, age 78, of Dyer, Indiana, died Thursday, February 1, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Betty Markley, nee Mate, loving father of Rick (Jean) Markley, grandfather of Michael and Damien Markley and great-grandfather of Madelyn Markley.
He was a dear brother of Robert (Mary) Markley, Roger (late Mary Lou) Markley and Audrey (late Zeke) Wenger. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Madge, nee Riley, Markley. Mr. Markley was a U.S. Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Intrepid.
