Daryl R. Walker, 72, of Whiteland, passed away on the afternoon of June 24, 2018 at his home. Daryl was born June 16, 1946 in Indianapolis, one of nine children of Leslie and Pansy Baker Walker.
Daryl attended Emmerich Manual High School and had owned and operated Indy Electronics for over 20 years. Daryl was a proud veteran having served his country in the United States Army. He was a computer enthusiast and enjoyed playing games as well as online gambling. He loved his bearded dragon and his dogs. He also loved his family and the times he spent with them. Daryl was a man ‘who did what he he wanted’.
Daryl is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Judy Walker; his children, Daryl Ray (Laura) Walker II and Kristina A. Johnson; his grandchildren, Jonathan Walker, Samantha K. Walker, Justin T. Walker and Maiya Grace Johnson; a sister, Kate Reynolds; a brother, Ernest Walker; a sister-in-law, Sherrie Walker as well as several nieces and nephews, especially a special niece and caregiver, Tonya Broadus.
He is preceded in passing by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
