Mr. Daryl Gray, age 71, of Valley, AL passed away on Thursday, July 12th, 2018 at the Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, GA. He was born on June 11th, 1947 in Langdale, AL to the late Kathleen and Herbert Gray.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Leah Blackstock Gray; his son, Benjamin Gray; his three siblings, Janice (Hylyard) Irvin of Prattville, AL, Kathy (Greg) Duffey of Valley, AL, and William (Dawn) Gray of Anderson, SC; his three brothers-in-law, Nathan Blackstock, Dean (Marsha) Blackstock, and James (Lynn) Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gray was a member of the Shawmut Christian Church. He was an employee of West Point Pepperell for 35 years. He loved old cars and going to car shows with his wife and great friends Edmund and Rhonda Stillwell. He also enjoyed going to the beach with his wife and great friends Kirby and Angie Hadaway. He was a big Auburn fan and enjoyed reading and listening to music. He loved to have coffee and fellowship with his friends in the morning at McDonalds. He was a kind hearted person and a very loving husband and father.
