Daryl married his wife, Sherri Lynn (Chambers) Stephens, on June 2, 1984 in Carmel, Indiana; they were married for 37 years.
Daryl was a member of Amity Baptist Church.
Daryl is survived by his wife, Sherri Stephens of New Whiteland, IN; his son, Daryl Gene Stephens II of New Whiteland, IN; his daughter, Sharon (Mike) Campbell of Ellettsville, IN; his five grandchildren; his brothers, Jay (Jackie) Stephens of Pendleton, IN and Rex Stephens of North Fort Myers, FL.
Daryl was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Betty Stephens, and his sister, LuAnna Stephens.
