It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Daryl Jackson II (Lil Daryl) announce his sudden passing on June 19, 2022. Born July 1, 2001 in Baltimore, MD, Lil Daryl is the second child born to Daryl and Dana (Soares) Jackson.
Daryl received a quality catholic education which began at Cardinal Shehan School and continued on to Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School (OLMC), where he graduated with the class of 2019. Daryl was entering his final semester this fall at the Community College of Baltimore County/Essex where he was pursuing his Associates degree in Business Administration.
Over the years, he was a proud member of several teams and clubs – Cub Scout Pack #648, Boy Scout Troop #161, Overlea Rec soccer, St. Francis CYO soccer, Parkville Rec football and basketball, Cardinal Shehan School basketball, Hamilton Baseball League, Baltimore Orioles RBI baseball, OLMC football and OLMC baseball.
The athletic achievements of which he was the most proud was being selected to represent Baltimore in the RBI World Series Tournament (2016); Baltimore City Mayor’s Cup Baseball Tournament (2019) and being selected to the MIAA All Conference baseball team (2019).
He was beloved by many and his contributions to his community will not be forgotten. Daryl was and forever will be treasured as a friend, confidant, brother, and son.
His life and memory are celebrated by his parents, Daryl and Dana Jackson.

As well as 25 first cousins, 3 nephews and a host of loving relatives, friends and former teammates.
