Darwin Jolley “DJ” Olson, 91, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 30, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
DJ was born June 1, 1927, in Hagerman, Idaho, to Frank Milton Olson and Geneva Mary Jolley Olson. He grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Bridge Malta High School. He served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On April 13, 1953, he married Betty Ann Johnson in Shelley, Idaho. She preceded him in death on April 12, 1995. On June 25, 1999, he married Alice Elizabeth Olson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She also preceded him in death on May 30, 2009. DJ worked as a Molder and Core Maker for Idaho Falls Foundry.
