DARRYL JEROME BARNES was born on July 4, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Aretha Ann Hall Barnes of Rehoboth, Delaware and Robert Barnes Sr. of Wilson, North Carolina.
Darryl was educated at IS 210. He was a loving person who made an outstanding impact on family and friends. He enjoyed being a comedian and made everyone laugh. He was employed as a janitor and later as a stockman.
Darryl spent his leisure time cooking and listening to music.
On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, our Fatherly God called Darryl Jerome Barnes into His eternal care.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving family: Three sisters – Sheila Jones, Dakota Barnes and Belinda Barnes (predeceased); Two brothers – Robert Lee Barnes and Hiawatha Barnes (predeceased); Four nieces – Shamone Barnes, Angelina Afolyan, Tameka Barnes and Kenya Barnes; Three nephews – Steven Barnes, Eddie Charon, and Stephon Charon; Four great nephews, Three great nieces, and One great-great nephew; and a host of other relatives and devoted friends.
