Darryl Anderson, 80, Pocatello, born August 8th, 1938, passed away, January 27th, 2019. He was the son of Harold and Bertha (Birdie) Anderson.
He joined the U.S. Airforce in the late 50’s. He met Ruby I Miller, his High School sweetheart. They married September 29th, 1958 and were married for 30 years. With that union they had two daughters: Holly (Thad) Clark from Blackfoot, Idaho; and Bonny Hathaway from Downey, Idaho. They later divorced. Darryl then married Barbara Anderson on August 23rd, 1989 and had three children: Dustin, Trista, and Zane. They divorced after 10 years of marriage. He married Mitzi Anderson on February 14th, 2006 with stepson Richard Stopka and stepdaughter Sheri (Mitchell) Rhea. He had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful grandpa and great-grandpa.
He was a meat cutter for many years. He had many hobbies: parachuting, riding bareback, horseshoeing, and fishing. He also loved watching the PBR bull riding. He was a true cowboy. He was a very talented artist in oil painting. Our dad was a very loving man, he cared for everyone and everything. He would give the shirt off of his back. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Darryl is survived by: his wife Mitzi, children, brothers; Lonnie (Marsha) Anderson, John (JoeAnn) Anderson, Kyle (Christine) Anderson, sisters; Vonnie Osborn, Janie (Chris) Freed, Shelly (Bill) Farr, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by: his parents, sister; Helen Kay Camren, son; Zane Anderson, and son-in-law; James Hathaway.
