Darrin Clifford Ore, 30, passed away at his home west of Jacksonville Saturday morning, July 9, 2011. He was born Aug. 17, 1980, in Jacksonville.Darrin was the loving father to Tyler Allen Ore, son of Roger and Penny Fricke Ore, brother and best friend to Chad (Alice) Ore, uncle to Darrian, Marrion and Adrian, grandson of Ray and Marion Francis, and is also survived by several aunts, uncles and special cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Betty Fricke.
Darrin was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. He received his Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow from Boy Scout Troop 109 in 1997, graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1998, and from Vatterott College in 1999. Darrin worked for Road District #6 with his father. He loved his 4-H years and scouting years. He was an excellent pool player, hunter and fisherman, and was an avid Cardinals fan. Darrin’s smiles and hugs were legendary to family and friends.
