Those left to honor Darrell’s memory are his wife, Jody of Newton; children, Travis Wright, Matt (Apryl) Wright, Melissa (Danny) DuPlessis, and Rene` (Kirk) Brown; his twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jerry (Trisha Folan-Wright) Wright of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Tom (Monica) Wright of Highland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ethel (O’Bryon) Wright; daughter, Laura DuPlessis; brother, Jim Wright; and two sisters, Meme Logan, and Laurie Ann Vislosky.
Darrell served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Darrell had been a Material Controller for many years and then he worked five years for Interstate Battery in purchasing, retiring in 2008.
Darrell was a member of MAYPICS. He loved to walk the Newton Bike & Walking Path with his dog, Lady. He also enjoyed working on the computer and doing digital photography.
