Darrell G. Morton, 69, of Anderson, passed away on May 24, 2015 at Cox Hospital in Branson, MO.
He was born on November 13, 1945 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and resided most of his life in Anderson, and spent the last few years in Cedar Creek, MO. Darrell graduated from Markleville High School in 1966, and retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. He was a member of the Open Door Community Church in Cedar Creek, MO.. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also liked to spend time at his home in Cedar Creek, MO, working, relaxing in the woods, and spending time on the lake.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Karen Morton of Anderson, children, Lora Schuckers of Anderson, Brian (Christina) Morton of Bedford, Darian (Meleah) Morton of Springport, Brad Morton of Markleville, siblings, Ann Melton of Couch, MO, Rufus “Buck” Morton of Cedar Creek, MO, Darlene (Duane) Reeder of Pendleton, Rick Morton of Cedar Creek, MO, grandchildren, Christopher, Racheal, and Zachary Schuckers, Riley, Megan, and Savannah Morton, David, Samuel, Isaac, Adriel, and Ezekiel Morton.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Morton, father, Rufus Morton, brother, Joe Morton, and his sister, Laverne Mans.
