Darrell G. Firth
Darrell G. Firth passed away peacefully on April 29, 2016. He was born to Joseph Edward Firth and Ethel Eckersley on May 7, 1928. He graduated from Weber High School and USU. He married his sweetheart, Gloria May Johnson, in 1955 in Logan, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together, they have four children.
He joined the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He later worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for many years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed golfing and tennis.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gloria, 3 children; Stanford (Wenny) Firth, Sean (Ruthie) Firth, and Sindi (Shaun) Lavender; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeffery Firth, and his only sister, Betty Watts.
