Darlo Hansen, 93, of Ammon, passed away December 10, 2022, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Brio Home Health & Hospice.
Darlo was born August 11, 1929, in Goshen, Idaho, to Willis Hansen and Mary Staples Hansen. He grew up and attended schools in Goshen and graduated from Firth High School.
On April 9, 1950, he married Betty Jean Adams in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on December 7, 1955. Darlo and Betty made their home in Goshen, Idaho, for 62 years.
Darlo is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Betty Hansen of Ammon, ID; daughter, Brenda (Tim) Moon of Shelley, ID; son, Rick (Darla) Hansen of Chubbuck, ID; daughter, Cindy (Frank) Gorgos; 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mary Hansen; brothers, LaVerl, Myron, and Wilmer; sister, Delma Mickelsen; daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Hank Kindel; and grandson, Eric Moon.
