Darlene “Pixie” Renee Bolyard, 60 of Moatsville, departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Broaddus Hospital after a battle with cancer. She was born January 10, 1951 in Grafton, daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Wolfe McDaniel. Pixie was a devoted wife, mother, and animal lover. She touched many lives with her caring and generous nature. She graduated from Newburg High School in 1968. She sold Avon for over 21 years. She attended the Berea United Methodist Church. Pixie is survived by her loving husband, David L Bolyard whom she married on April 6, 1974; one daughter, Melissa Moury and husband Eric, Tunnelton; one son, Jason Bolyard and wife Christina, Kingwood; three grandchildren, Delayna Moury, Wyatt Bolyard and Hadley Moury; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Pixie was preceded in death by her brother, James McDaniel.
