Darlene Rau, 60, of Fountain Hill passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. She was the loving wife of James Rau for the past 39 years. Born on May 20, 1955 in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Lena (Sedli) Schoenberger of Bethlehem and the late Thomas Schoenberger. She was a caregiver to foster children for many years. Darlene was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time gardening, star gazing and working on arts and crafts. Her biggest joy was playing with her grandsons. Surviving with her husband, daughter, Jennifer Conklin of Coplay; son, Sean Sell and his companion, Patty Harris of Danielsville; grandchildren, Jessie, Aidan, Jeremy, Hillary; brother, Guy Schoenberger and wife Maryann of Bethlehem; sisters, Janet Behler and her companion Richard Brown of Bath, Cindi Wetzel and husband David of Bethlehem; step mother, Frances Schoenberger.
