Darlene R. Branting, age 73, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away July 19, 2020 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola.
Darlene was born September 15, 1946 to Ray and Leona (Sayer) Fisher at McCook, Nebraska. She attended school in Goodland, Kansas and McCook, receiving her diploma from McCook College.
She worked as a factory worker at TRW in Ogallala and later worked as a cashier at the truck stop in Big Springs. For the past 10 years she lived in Osceola and Stromsburg where she resided until her passing.
Survivors include sons Randy (Diane) Wright of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Russell Wright of Osceola and Robert (Krystal) Wright of Kearney; two sisters Doris Martin of North Platte, DeEtte Schwedler of Panalis Park, Florida; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Branting; one great granddaughter Ivory Rose Maxcy; two sisters DeVona Ballock and Delores Ahrans; and one brother Darrell Fisher.
