Darlene M. Marcou, 64, of Millville, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Genesis Health Care in Milford. She was the beloved wife to Gerard “Jerry” J. Marcou of 49 years.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Theresa (Arena) Olsen and the late Alfred Olsen. She was raised and educated in Medway.
Around the year 2000, Darlene worked for Cingular Wireless, which merged with AT&T. The Cingular Wireless kiosk was located inside the Bellingham Walmart. She also worked at Putnam Investments in the mid 1990’s as a lead in the Custom Mail Department and was the only employee in her department to receive a merit bonus.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Melinda Marcou.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michelle Rivers and her husband Scott, of Upton, Michael Marcou of Warwick, RI, Matt Marcou, of Millville, Mark Marcou, of Upton, siblings Rosemarie Kilduff and her husband Rich, Joanne Ryan and her husband John, Al Olsen and his wife Jean, grandson Jeremy Rivers and granddaughters Felicia Rivers and Madison Marcou.
