Darlene Janet Miller age 81, of Sun City, AZ formerly of Wheatfield, IN passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Sun City, AZ.
She was born September 24, 1934 to Don and Burylie (Hess) Wiggs, both deceased. Darlene was a graduate of Mt. Ayr High School, class of 1953. On October 15, 1955, Darlene married Howard H. Miller who passed away May 19, 2015. She was the secretary at DeMotte Elementary School in DeMotte, IN for 37 years and a member of Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, Wheatfield, IN. Darlene was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by all.
Darlene is survived by her loving daughters, Nancy (William) Kelley, Bullhead City, AZ; Sharell Smith, Sun City, AZ, and Shannon Miller (Janet Duncan), Corona, CA; grandchildren, Selena (Nick) Egert, Brooke Kelley-Hunt (Josh), Ryan (Jessica) Kelley, and Brittney Kelley; great grandchildren, Sofia Hunt, Jack Kelley, Makenna Kelley and Blake Egert; Brother, Kevin Wiggs, DeMotte, IN; sister, Sarah (Marvin) Flagg, Naples, FL; brother-in-law, Bob Sullivan, Crown Point, IN; sisters-in-laws, Pat (Dean) Cox, Rensselaer, IN, Nellie Miller, Fair Oaks, IN, Dorothy Lindahl, Roselawn, IN, Louise Miller, Kouts, IN, Shirley Miller, Lake Village, IN, and Mary Ann Miller, Lake Village, IN.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; brothers, John “Jack” Wiggs and Leon Wiggs, and sister, Judy Sullivan.
