Darlene Joan Rickman, age 85, passed away on Tuesday November 1, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. She was born February 10, 1937, in Wisconsin Rapids. The daughter of Victor and Dorothy Ebbe.
Darlene married Charles W. Rickman on July 26, 1958. Darlene loved big and forgave easily. She cared for everyone and everything, but still took time to watch her old cowboy western shows on television and sleep late in the mornings. We challenge anyone to find a better housekeeper. Family potlucks will never be the same without her famous macaroni and cheese and potato salad. She was crafty and creative. She made beautiful greeting cards, hand-painted crafts, wedding bouquets and was a talented cake decorator.
She dedicated her life to her husband of 64 years, her 3 daughters, Brenda (Noel) Hubler, Lori (Rodney) Price and Dawn West;11 grandchildren, Kevin (Anna), Tavina, CJ (Jenah), Tyler (Kenzie), Craig (Megan), Rana (Danny), Noah, Erin (Kris), Jayme (Rob), Katrina, Ryan (Truely).19 great-grandchildren, with another great-granddaughter due March 2023.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Ebbe.
Darlene is walking with Jesus, and heaven is a little brighter. Your family loves you so much and will miss you more than you’ll ever know.
