Cherished wife of 58 years to Roland “Ron”. Loving mother of Linda (Bill) Hamrick, Tom (Dorian) Fix and Scott (Angie) Fix. Proud grandmother of Luke, Nicole, Emily, Caitlin, Jessica, Daniel and Benjamin. Also survived by her sister-in-law Christine, her nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents Daniel Paul Shilling and Amelia Louise (Wilbur) Shreve and one brother Roy Owen. Darlene was a graduate of St. Alphonsus in Dearborn, Michigan. Before she retired, she served different companies as a Customer Service Representative. Her family was her love in life and she adored her grandchildren; she was involved in every aspect of their life making sure to be there for them as much as possible.
