Ms. Darlene Buckner Crowe, age 68, of Lanett passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama.
Ms. Crowe was born on April 15, 1948 in Madison County, North Carolina to the late Clifford and Ruth Virginia Shelton Buckner.
She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Lanett.
Ms. Buckner is survived by her children, Sonja “Sandy” Crowe, Joey (Cris) Crowe, Allen (Dana) Crowe, Norman “Rock” Crowe, Nancy Hammond Crowe; brothers, Jonah (Joyce) Buckner, Christopher (Shannon) Buckner; sister, Elaine Buckner; special niece, Kathleen Grace Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Leslie Crowe White.
Ms. Buckner was a career truck driver who drove for Troup Express, Poole Trucking Company, and Covington Transport before her retirement.
She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She also enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing karaoke, and gambling.
