Darlene Ann Freeman of Luther, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on August 3, 2023, at the age of 76. Darlene was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on November 27, 1946, the daughter of Dorothy (Butler) Freeman and Lawrence Freeman.

Darlene enjoyed caring for other people. For over twenty years, she worked in the home health industry, acting as a caretaker for several special ladies. She enjoyed her career and loved the special bonds she created with the many incredible people she was able to take care of over the years. She was a creative soul who enjoyed painting, always wishing she had devoted more time to her art throughout the years. She also enjoyed traveling, especially relishing any opportunity to go see the mountains.

Darlene never turned down a hot cup of coffee, or anything chocolate, and her love for these two things knew no bounds, except of course, for the tremendous love she had for her family and the people she cared about. She was a wonderful person, and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Freeman, and one sister, Lorene Biggs.

Left to treasure her memory are four children, Steven Broudy and his wife Veronica, Kimberly Marshall and her husband Tom, Lawrence King, and Adam Roubieu. Darlene is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Janice Edmondson and brother-in-law Tom, and Kay Russell.
