Darl Robert Laulis, 80 of Grafton went to be with his Lord and Savior at Grafton City Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born June 20, 1938 in Grafton, WV son of the late John T and Cordie G Moss Laulis. Darl graduated Grafton High School, Class of 1957 and served our country in the United States Army where he was Sergeant. He worked for CSX Railroad as a Carman for over twenty years. Darl was an avid hunter and enjoyed woodworking. The craftsmanship lead to the many guns he made over the years. He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church, Grafton Masonic Lodge # 15 AF & AM where he was Royal Arch Mason and Knights of Templar. His hobbies included bowling, trap and skeet shooting, was a life member of WV. sportsman and fire arms. He is survived by his wife of over fifty two years, Frances Colebank Laulis whom he married on May 21, 1966; two children, Christy Conway and Raymond, Florence, SC, Kerry Fancher and Todd, Rachel, WV; seven grandchildren, Alex Henderson, Robert Henderson, Brody Conway, Trent Fancher and Andrea, Trevor Fancher and Sarah, Emily Fancher and Adah Fancher; one great granddaughter, Sophia; sister-in-laws, Betty Laulis, Grafton, Sharon Laulis, Grafton, and Diana Colebank, Fairmont; seven nieces and nephews, Mark Laulis, John Laulis, Lisa Lowe, Robin Ketterman, John D Laulis, Mary Frances Arabian, and Michael Colebank. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ward Laulis and twin brother, Dale Laulis.
