Darian was born on May 9, 1990 in Denver, Colorado to Gabriel Garcia and Rita Stephens. Darian grew up in Colorado and graduated from Northglenn High School in 2008. Darian spent a year in Hawaii attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 2010 and served four years at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. After his enlistment he returned home to Colorado. He loved living in Colorado near his family and being able to enjoy the Rocky Mountains.
