Darance Lange Patrick, 51, of Pleasant Plains, IL passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at his residence surrounded by loving family.
Darance was born on July 5, 1962, in Springfield, the son of Darrel and Shirley (Lange) Patrick. He is survived by his parents; companion, Judy Ladley; two sisters, Deneen (husband Ron) Omer, Dareea (husband Mark) Paiva; two nieces Renna Brock and Rebba Omer; two nephews, Quinton Paiva and Quincey Paiva; and several aunts, uncle, and cousins.
Darance was a graduate of Pleasant Plains High School and worked as an auto mechanic for over 30 years. Darance was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pleasant Plains. He enjoyed life being with his family and close friends. He loved animals and the outdoors. He was a history enthusiast and had a hobby of making metal sculptures.
