Danny Vitullo was born to Dante Peter and Berniece Collette (Sullivan) Vitullo, Sr. on June 30, 1955 in Huntington Beach, California.
He passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of fifty-two.
On October 25, 1975 Dante III was born to Danny and his first wife, Linda Lackey.
On September 8, 1979 Danny was united in marriage with Kathy Denise Samuelson in Urbandale, Iowa. To this union three children were born: Michelle, Gina, and Jenny.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Kathy; two sons: Dante III and his wife, Jeanette of California, Jeremy and his fiancé, Jess of Des Moines; three daughters: Michelle and her boyfriend, Ron Van Vark of Pella, Gina and her husband, Richard Villalobos of Pella, Jenny and her husband, Simon Vos of Pella; ten grandchildren: Dante IV, Dreghan Vitullo, Caleb Vitullo, Lily Villalobos, Sidnie Van Vark, Tori Van Vark, Rylie Van Vark, Faith Vitullo, Hope Vos, Kylie Villalobos; one sister: Kathleen Preston of Garden Grove, California; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Samuelson of Pella and his sister-in-law Kris and Ed Van Wyk.
Those preceding Danny in death are: his parents; two brothers: Jim and Jack Sullivan; a granddaughter: Drehgan Vitullo; and his father-in-law: Darwin Samuelson.
