Danny Wayne Rhodes, age 63, passed away September 27, 2014 at his home in Newnan, GA. He was born August 16, 1951 in Atlanta, GA to Otis and Fannie (Butts) Rhodes. Danny graduated from West Fulton High School. He attended Georgia State University and received a BA Degree. Danny was a civil servant for Federal Aviation Administration, Internal Revenue Service, and Department of Homeland Security. Danny is survived by his loving partner, Patricia Donovan, son Brandon (Christine) Rhodes of Windermere, Fl., stepson Andre (Renee) Harvey of Conyers, GA, brothers, Otis Rhodes Jr. (Yvonne) of Atlanta, GA, Melvin (Helen) Rhodes of Evans, GA. He is also survived by his uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Danny enjoyed writing. He authored and published a children’s book titled I Know Tuff Luck based on his childhood. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Otis Rhodes Sr., his mother, Fannie Mae (Butts) Rhode, and his brother, William Carlton (Ruby) Rhodes.
