Danny R. Linthicum, 60, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 surrounded by his family and friends.

Born, March 24, 1950 in Bloomington, he was the son of Vilas and Violet (Allen) Linthicum. Danny was the co-owner of Handy Masonry for 41 years. He was a member of the AMVETS Post #2000, and Woodhaven Christian Church.

Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed four wheeler riding, hunting and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Lois “LoLo” Linthicum, two daughters, Angel Stevens and her husband Al Poole of Greene County, Paula “Sissy” Stillions of Lexington, KY, daughter-in-law, Kim (Potter) Achors and her husband Jeff of Bloomington, two brothers, Bill Linthicum and his wife Phyllis of Phoenix, AZ, Grover Linthicum and his wife Teddie of Bloomington, five grandchildren, Tyler Potter, Sawyer Potter, Amber Clarke, Daniel Collins, Shandie Fiscus and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Nalley. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jamie J. Potter (1996).
