Daniel “Danny” James Ownbey, age 55, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. He was born on January 17, 1963.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvan and Emma Evelyn Ownbey; brothers, David and A.B. Ownbey; and the mother of his son, Rachel Willis. He is survived by his wife, Rene Ownbey of Lafayette; sons and daughter in law, Daniel and Trinadi Ownbey of Chatsworth, Triston Ownbey of Chatsworth; daughters and sons in law, Jennifer and Justin Morris of Cohutta, Jessica and Jason Fowler of Chatsworth; the mother of his children, Glenda Rice of Chatsworth; stepson, Andrew Bennett of Lafayette; stepdaughter and her husband, Amber and Taylor Pullum of Lafayette; sisters and brother in law, Kathy Cameron of Chatsworth, Mary and Hughey Joiner of Dalton, Jodi Matthews of Crandall; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
