Danny L. Jordan (67), born September 12, 1948 in Caldwell, Idaho, passed away July 12, 2016, in Wilder, Idaho.
Danny joined the Air Force in 1968 and retired as an E6 Technical Support Sergeant in 1988. He went on to serve his country as a civilian for the Air Force, retiring as a GS-11 Quality Assurance Evaluator and Bombing Range Manager in 2009.
Danny loved singing, golf, horses, basketball, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Jordan; 2 sons, Danny L. Jordan, Jr. (Stephanie) and Donald R. “Don Bob” Jordan (Sabrina). Included in the surviving family members are 3 grandchildren, Kinzlee, Emma, and Kiera; along with 4 brothers, Ronald (Ida), Kelly (Elizabeth), Chriss (Judy) and Marty. These and many extended family members and countless friends who will miss him greatly and remember him fondly.
He always remained “humble and kind”.
As I sit in heaven and watch you everyday,
I try to let you know with signs I never went away.
I hear you when you’re laughing, and watch you as you sleep.
I even place my arms around you to calm you as you weep.
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home.
So I try to send you signs so you know you are not alone.
Don’t feel guilty that you have life that was denied to me.
Heaven is truly beautiful, just you wait and see.
So live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free.
Then I know with every breath you take
You’ll be taking one for me.
