Danny Lee Skidmore Sr. 62 of Shinnston, WV. passed away Thursday April 6th 2017 at his residence. He was born September 14th 1954 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late William Skidmore and Pauline Barker Skidmore.
He was a carpenter by trade and worked for Mt. Heritage Home Improvement. He served in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Skidmore of Shinnston, WV; one son, Danny Skidmore Jr. of Shinnston, WV; one daughter, Delphia Hall and husband, Dennis of Shinnston,WV; one step-daughter, Heather Tresize of Haywood, WV; three brothers, Anthony Wayne Skidmore and wife, Barbara of Meadowbrook, WV, Norman Swiger and wife Dianne, of Meadowbrook, WV, and Robert Skidmore and wife, Jeanette of Haywood, WV; his four sister,s Delphia Skidmore, Linda Wilson and husband John both of Shinnston, WV, Becky Bunnell and husband, Donley of Wallace, WV and Corbie McElroy and husband, Paul of Haywood, WV; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dorsey Skidmore; and his siste,r Peggy Landis.
